December Calendar

Welcome back to my December Calendar 2024. I would like to continue with the tradition to share beautiful things that can happen in Christmas time. Christmas time is its own season, hopefully filled with peace and love and spirit for everyone. Please enjoy whatever touches your heart when you pop in now and again and have a look at my December thoughts. 

December bliss!

2024 has become most precious to me. 2024 is a year of miracles and wonder. It is a year with experiences I will carry in my heart forever.  They have to do with love, with trust, with being with the person I want in my life for every moment of the day, for an eternity and longer. 2024 is a year I learned incredible things. About me, and again about love, and also about what we are capable of when it comes to finally walking the path that is meant for us.

This is to an enchanting time. Have a lovely first day of December and, if you are celebrating it, a wonderful first Advent!

Take a minute...

If you feel hurt or annoyed by certain situations, also by the behaviour of people maybe, have you tried putting yourself at their point? No? Well, then let us try together.
How do you think is someone feeling who has the right to own their world like you own yours, but then they cannot? They cannot because their world is unknown to us. They cannot because we do not listen carefully enough. They cannot because we hardly try to communicate with them. They cannot because we are not concerned, we even think thank God this isn’t me.

You know, this will never change until we act. But we have enough to do with getting our own challenges to overcome, don’t we? Who is looking after me and my struggles, right? Does that mean, I would like to know, that you want me to be unkind to you and ignorant because your world is out to burn you? Is that the way, then? No, this can never be the key. We are not unkind. We are not without compassion or thoughtfulness. The thing is, however, that goodwill and humanness are scarier than indifference. Because, for being thoughtful and nice, we need to see the other one’s burdens. We need to smile and give a helping hand. We need to listen and make time for others. We need to be integer.

Protect your energy and excitement for every new morning from the negativity and pessimism of others. Never go for doing nothing just because others might do so. Never opt for doing nothing just because you can do only so little. You might be stunned what a tiny bit of kindness, be it ever so small, can do for other people and for yourself. For myself, you wonder? It may surprise you, but a massive yes to that. For, one act of kindness is all it needs to spark hope in you too. One simple act of kindness will relight the beautiful light in you. A light sometimes maybe dimmed and only soft, but never extinguished.

Kindness and love, you see, are larger than the barriers that sometimes shut us in.
