It is that time of year again. Once again, I would like to spread some Christmas cheer and maybe infect you with the Christmas spirit!

This Christmas, may your blessings be many, your worries only few, and  your days spent with the people who cannot imagine to be without you for too long and love you the most. Get in contact with the special ones you love and tell them they are loved. This time of year is about knowing who you love and who loves you. Nothing else is important. Have a very Merry Christmas, all of you. Thank you very much for rading my articles, for your support and encouragement.

​Christmas Eve is my favourite. I think the anticipation is more fun than anything else. Even though I am an adult now and not waiting for presents, I never want to lose that. The idea that something - food, music, dressing up, traditions, a special date on the calendar - can be very magical because we decide it should be. We make it extraordinary and exquisite. Not just for ourselves, but for others.

​Music, like all kind of music, is very, very powerful. The Christmas genre, however, is perhaps even more potent than other forms of music because the holiday season with all its spirit is emotionally charged. It represents the ideals that most of us strive for: equality, tolerance, love, and peacefulness. For soe of us, like me, Christmas sends that message of these desirable things. For others, it is unfortunately a reminder how far they are from achieving that.  Please listen to the adorable children. Maybe there is something in your life that is just fine and precieous?

It is Saint Nicholas Day today. In Germany, it is tradition to put a red and shiny boot next to your front door. Saint Nicholas sneaks in and comes for a visit over night and, if you have been a good girl or boy, he pops a sweet treat in your boot. But before he does that, he checks if your boot is very clean!
